John McCain is a Political Opportunist. He may have been a maverick once, but he is a maverick no longer. He has done a complete U-Turn on all the principles and positions he stood for over the years in order to try to win this election.
Over the past 3 years, he has voted with Bush 90% of the time. He has voted to continue Bush's tax cuts for the super-wealthy, to make estate tax repeal permanent, he has voted with Bush on Iraq, on immigration, on the environment, on oil drilling, on drilling in environmentally protected areas, on de-regulation of banks and brokerage houses, on abortion, on Defense of Marriage, gay rights,
